It highlights the efforts of women and women-based organizations countering terrorism and preventing/countering violent extremism (CT/PCVE). The study emphasizes avoiding gender stereotypes in CT/PCVE policies and acknowledges the significant contributions of women in reducing radicalization in Australian communities. The study recommends creating safe spaces, providing family resources, and enhancing women's political involvement to challenge extremist gender narratives and support vulnerable individuals.
